Starting Salary: $67,367.00
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Administration, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or equivalent field. Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of ten (10) years’ work experience working in Public Administration, Public Relations, or equivalent. The alternative, of the combination of education or documented continuing education, and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
- Knowledge of desktop publishing programs and production processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to speak, interpret, and translate Spanish is a positive asset for this position.
- Must have the desire to advance professional skills continually, exhibit a strong work ethic, ability to prioritize, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of state database systems is a benefit.
- Must have the ability to manage stress appropriately and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Should be familiar with the child care community in Seminole County.
- Ability to work flexible hours to ensure project and deadline completion, with occasional evening and weekend hours required.
- Must be willing to travel, if needed, within Seminole County to perform required tasks and provide own reliable transportation.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience working in community outreach and/or volunteer recruitment and coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Work experience in early childhood education and/or working with low-income and at-risk populations is a plus.
- Experience with event coordination is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel within and out of Seminole County to perform required tasks — providing your own means of reliable transportation. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License, a good driving record, and automobile insurance when your personal vehicle would be used for travel.
- Bilingual: Ability to communicate in English and Spanish (both written and verbally), is a plus.

Hourly Wage: $17.98
The Early Education Support Specialist of the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole (Coalition) is primarily
responsible for supporting the departments under the supervision of the Director of Child Development, Early Education
and Special Projects, departments under the Director of Quality Improvements, and contractors as it relates to the
School Readiness and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) programs. Responsibility also includes but is not limited to
completing contracted required tasks in the area of Child Development. The Early Education Support Specialist service
functions are performed in person, secured by email, letters, telephone, and Florida’s Office of Early Learning Coalition
Services Portal.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree required, in Early Childhood Education, Child Growth, and Development, Social Work,
Case Management, Administration, or equivalent field. Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree preferred. - A minimum of three (3) years of work experience working in direct early childhood or equivalent. The alternative,
of the combination of education or documented continuing education, and experience sufficient to
successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above. - A minimum of three (3) years of administration experience.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required, in Early Childhood Education, Child Growth, and Development, Social Work, Case Management, Administration or equivalent field. Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of work experience working in direct early childhood or equivalent. A combination of education or documented continuing education, and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as Program Assessment Specialist.· Observer reliability in CLASS tools that include but are not limited to CLASS Infant, CLASS Toddler, and CLASS PreK, preferred (Ability to achieve CLASS tool(s) observer reliability within 9 months employment and/or when certification is available).
· UF Coaching Certificate preferred (Ability to achieve Coaching Certification within 9 months of employment and/or when certification is available).
· UF Community of Practice Facilitator Certificate preferred (Ability to achieve CoP Facilitator certification within 9 months of employment and/or when certification is available).
· Preferred knowledge and expertise in the areas of:
o Developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education.
o Teacher training and curriculum development and implementation.
o OEL approved school readiness curriculum.
o Certifications and Training as follow:
- CLASS Infant Train-The-Trainer
- CLASS Toddler Train-The-Trainer
- CLASS Pre-K Train-The-Trainer
- CLASS Observer Pre-K
- CLASS Observer Toddler
- CLASS Observer Infant
- Making the Most of Classroom Interaction-MMCI
- Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG Assessment)
o Preparation of lesson plans and teaching materials.
o Evaluation and assessment of both young children and adults.
o Experience designing and implementing training activities and materials.
