  • Understand the value of connection, relationships, and community in the classroom.
  • Implement structures, routines, and rituals
  • Practice rituals that foster connection
  • Integrate social skill building into every aspect of the school day

    • Brain Based Behavior (Based on Conscious Discipline) 
      • Understand the three brain states that we operate from, and why
      • Practice composure and calming strategies to teach self-regulation
      • Integrate social skill building into every aspect of the school day.

 

April 17, 2018

    • Making Sense of Sensory
      • Understand the role of each of the seven senses
      • Determine the sensory needs of a child and what to do if they need extra support
      • Implement sensory supports for all children
      • Integrate sensory strategies throughout the day

Maximum Attendance is 25 for this class – you must register for this event.

  • Participants must arrive fifteen (15) minutes prior to training start time. No admittance for late arrivals.
  • Participants will not be admitted ten (10) minutes after class begins.
  • Participants must complete entire training, as applicable.
  • Participants must actively participate in activities and exercises.
