How to Become A Provider

Providers and School Readiness

School Readiness Provider Contract Application

School Readiness funding is available to at-risk or low-income families through a federal grant. It increases the accessibility to high-quality early education and care programs so children in at-risk or low-income families can have the best early learning opportunities.

New School Readiness Providers must attend an Orientation Meeting. Orientations are held on a quarterly basis. For more information about our next meeting please contact:

Other services available to School Readiness Providers include Screening and Assessments for children, Technical Assistance, Child Care Resource and Referral, Conferences and Trainings. You will enter into an agreement with the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole to become a School Readiness provider.

School Readiness Curricula

Legislation requires the Office of Early Learning to adopt a list of approved curricula that meet the School Readiness Program performance standards and to establish a process for reviewing and approving a provider’s curriculum to assess whether it meets the standards. The 2014-2015 list of curricula approved for use in school readiness programs is available below and will expire on June 30, 2020. The 2019 School Readiness curriculum list is also available below and will continue to grow on an annual basis to include curricula that are submitted, evaluated and approved. The 2019 School Readiness curriculum list will be updated annually after the evaluation period (January/February). The annual School Readiness curriculum submission period is open May 1 to June 30.
