The Early Learning Coalition of Seminole is dependent on the community’s support to ensure that our programs reach each and every child in Seminole County with our programs.
Our school readiness funding requires the Coalition to raise local dollars which will pull down matching federal funds. Every dollar we raise brings in almost $15.67 of which all is used to provide child care for the children of the working poor. This year the Coalition must raise nearly $350,000 from the local community to ensure we receive all the dollars needed to support our community.
There are several ways that you can personally support the Coalition:
What Can You Donate?
Clothes & Shoes: Men's Women's Children's, Infants'
Accessories: Belts, Purses, Backpacks, Ball Caps
Toys: Soft or Hard Toys, 14 inches or smaller
Linens: Bedsheets, Blankets, Curtains, Towels
IMPORTANT
Please stay in your car during the drop-off. We will take bags out of your car for you.
You must wear a mask during the drop-off.
We encourage businesses in our community who wish to promote quality early education and child care to become a partner of the Coalition.
Businesses can provide their support either with a financial contribution or sometimes by providing services that the Coalition would usually pay for as an “in-kind” donation.
